Quit CS:GO a few months ago, now come back and all my points reset?

I had over 10,000 points back in June/July a I've come back after a long break to find all my points wiped, do I have to stay crazy active for my points to remain, can I get these points back without the endless grind or am I back to square one?

Hi Aut0n, sorry no one replied sooner. Points do reset back to zero after an extended period of time not playing on the severs, it happened to me a couple of years back.

I suspect you’re back to square one I’m afraid but I’ll investigate regardless and get back to you soon.

Unfortunately I was right and there’s no easy way to get your points back up to 10k, just have to grind it again. Sorry I couldn’t help more.
